In order for a Masked Marvel Custom Goalie
Helmet to fit properly, the helmet must first fit snug to the
face and the individuals chin should rest comfortably in the
chin cup with their mouth closed. Improper fitting can increase
the chance of injury and reduce visibility.
In order to get an accurate fit, the back plate must fit comfortable
to the contour of the individuals head. This is accomplished
by adjusting the top/center harness strap first while holding
the helmet snug to your forehead and chin resting comfortable
in the chin cup. Once the top harness strap is in place, adjust
the rest of the harness straps accordingly, working downward
to the next set of straps which rest near the ears then the
next set near the lower chin area of the helmet. Once the back
plate is in position, tighten chin strap so contact is made
with the chin whether mouth is open or closed.
Determine head size by applying a measure tape around the
circumference of the individuals head one inch above your eyebrows.
We ask that you also include height, weight and age to give
Masked Marvel Custom Goalie Helmets an accurate idea of correct
padding size and location within helmet shell.
Example:
If an individual head size is measured at 23 inches, they would need a large.
Please note, we recommend if you're between two helmet sizes, and are still
growing, we suggest ordering the bigger of the two. A young teen with a size
7 hat size should consider getting a medium due to growth.
